Position Overview

eLogger is seeking a resourceful Sales Executive who proactively manages enterprise sales

opportunities and drives them from lead to close. Skillful development of prospect and

customer relationships is key to success in the role, as our best opportunities come from

leveraging relationships between existing customers and prospects. The company

provides excellent selling support from sales engineering and customer success. The right

sales executive will generate significant sales revenue by leveraging our robust existing

customer base and sterling reputation for delivering value to customers.

Responsibilities

● Create New Revenue by generating new Account relationships

● Expand Revenue within existing Accounts by upselling to additional groups

● Generate and develop new sales opportunities by:

○ Responding to inbound prospect inquiries

○ Identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers, in

collaboration with customer success

○ Leveraging relationships between prospects and existing customers, in

collaboration with customer success

○ Employing cold and warm outreach through phone and email

● Own the entire sales process and opportunity management responsibility for

selling eLogger’s software to Utilities and other industrial operations. Create and

drive sales strategies and sales execution for opening up and winning large

enterprise accounts.

○ Create opportunity plans to drive and manage opportunities, building

consensus for eLogger.

○ Gain access to key stakeholders in new accounts

○ Qualify opportunities for need/fit and apply product knowledge to shape

solutions

○ Provide expert, industry-specific guidance on product features and benefits

○ Deliver dynamic, winning product presentations and demonstrations,

typically through online video meetings

○ Work with sales engineering to develop prototype product configurations

that address specific prospects’ needs.

○ Support sales engineering in demonstrating configurations to prospects

○ Write proposals and prepare quotes for qualified prospects

○ Negotiate sale parameters, including pricing and scope

○ Manage political and interpersonal dynamics in prospect organizations

○ Work with sales engineering to respond to RFPs and technical questions

○ Work with customer success to include sales of services engagements

whenever helpful to facilitate license sales

● Organize, prioritize, and analyze sales opportunities to manage pipeline activity to

meet and exceed goals

● Track communication and progress across all opportunity stages in our Hubspot

CRM system

● Contribute to the development and improvement of sales tools, processes,

materials, and messaging

● Develop and maintain customer references

● Continually learn about our product and target industries

● Represent eLogger at relevant industry events

Requirements

● Minimum of 8 years enterprise software sales experience preferably to Utilities

● Drive to achieve selling success

● Structured and disciplined approach to cultivating selling opportunities

● Deep experience building a sales pipeline and closing opportunities

● Ability to develop and leverage personal relationships with prospective customers

and existing customer organizations

● Strong presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills

● Confident and consultative approach

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Ability to effectively and collaboratively engage eLogger colleagues in advancing

sales opportunities

● Familiarity with IT concepts like servers and databases

● Occasional travel

● Relationships and/or experience in target markets a plus

Compensation

On Target Earnings of $260,000 per year. 50%/50% mix of Salary and Commission.

Location

This role is currently remote, with the expectation that candidates be based in the

Minneapolis/Duluth areas. While eLogger is a remote-first company today, future plans

may involve a hybrid work model, with some in-office work required in MN.
