As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Sales Executive to join our team to sell direct business and co-sell with our partners.


About the Role

As a Senior Sales Executive, your success will be measured based on quota attainment. You will be responsible for driving revenue by selling Knotch’s solutions both directly to Knotch prospects and through our large agency and tech partners. You will work closely with Knotch teams, partner teams, and marketing leaders at prospect accounts to position Knotch as a critical component of their strategy. You will be a trusted advisor who can articulate the art of the possible, demonstrating how Knotch’s platform unlocks content and digital optimization for enterprise brands.


Responsibilities

  • Sell both direct and indirect business, working with partners while also driving direct enterprise sales.
  • Own both a direct quota and an indirect quota, ensuring success in both sales channels.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within agency partner accounts and their enterprise clients.
  • Understand businesses and their problems, actively listening to clients to construct high-level solutions that address their challenges.
  • Present and pitch Knotch’s value proposition in front of senior-level executives, showcasing how our platform drives measurable business impact.
  • Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles and successfully close seven-figure deals.
  • Maintain a high-energy, professional-aggressive approach with a relentless focus on exceeding revenue goals.
  • Stay ahead of marketing technology trends, especially in AI and content marketing, and leverage this knowledge to drive customer interest and confidence.
  • Create structured follow-ups and creatively incentivize clients to co-build a solution together that they buy into.
  • Travel as much as needed to meet clients, attend meetings, and drive deals forward.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to co-sell Knotch products with our large agency partner.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including marketing, customer success, and product teams, to deliver exceptional sales engagements.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, selling to marketing leaders.
  • Experience owning both a direct quota and an indirect quota.
  • Proven track record as a top performer, consistently exceeding quota.
  • Demonstrated ability to close seven-figure deals in a complex sales environment.
  • Ideally has experience selling at an agency and at a tech company with an agency partner.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology and digital transformation.
  • Exceptional ability to command the room and deliver compelling presentations to senior executives.
  • Deep knowledge of content marketing is a strong plus.
  • Passion for AI’s role in the future of marketing and its impact on content strategies.
  • Highly motivated, professional-aggressive approach with a strong drive for success.
  • Must be based in the NYC area and able to work closely with agency teams and clients in person.
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning, constantly seeking to understand new trends, technologies, and customer challenges.
  • Maniacal about details and follow-up, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Deep Industry Relationships – Extensive networks within Fortune 500 brands and strong relationships with CMOs, agency executives, and decision-makers.
  • Enterprise Sales Expertise – Navigate long, complex sales cycles and have a proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar deals. Must be maniacal and persistent with your follow up.
  • Strategic & Consultative Selling – Act as a trusted advisor, aligning solutions with client needs and positioning offerings as essential to marketing strategies.
  • Strong Executive Presence – Command the room, deliver compelling presentations, and influence senior executives across agencies and brands.
  • Data & Technology Fluency – Understand martech, adtech, media buying, and AI-driven marketing strategies, enabling them to sell solutions that drive measurable impact.
